The Mage's Student is a roguelike deckbuilding game in which your mana to cast spells is represented by cards of four types: Fire, Frost, Acid, and Healing. You start with a basic deck consisting of cards that grant one mana of their type and some basic spells, but as you delve deeper in the cellars you can upgrade your cards and learn new spells. But casting consecutive spells of the same type will lose efficacy...

Use WASD, HJKL, or the arrow keys to move. Use [ or P to select the previous target, and ] or N to select the next target. Use > to descend stairs. Use 0-9 to cast spells (attack spells will target the highlighted enemy; healing spells will restore your hp).
